Since the beginnings of martial arts in the U.S., the belief has been that once you achieved black belt, you were qualified to become a martial arts instructor. The ATA believes that just being able to do something does not make a qualified instructor. All ATA certified instructors go through a multi-year, three step process so that you know that you are being trained by a skilled and professional instructor. Each leadership student must teach 300 classes, become CPR certified, become certified in Youth Protection, have a background check, and attend regional instructor camps taught by master instructors. Come and see why our instructors make us "America's Leader in Martial Arts." Chief ATA Certified Instructors - Black Collar
